This is Peat Reek Embers Special Reserve, an Islay single malt bottled by Blackadder at 58.5% ABV. It was bottled in May 2018 from cask EMB 6, which gave 620 bottles.
The nose is tar and sweaty asphalt with peat smoke, followed later by dry spices and grass. The palate is powerful, with leather, peat, asphalt and tar alongside some buttery cake. The finish is described as one for a wet autumn day.
