Blackadder Raw Cask Linkwood 12 Year Old is a single malt finished in Oloroso sherry wood and bottled from cask no. 70 at 59.1% ABV. Only 60 bottles were filled, in a release made to mark a 30th anniversary.
The nose shows rich dried fruits, dark toffee, polished oak and a touch of Christmas spice. The palate is full-bodied and powerful, with sherry-soaked raisins, treacle, nutty oak and warming spice. The finish is long and drying, with lingering fruitcake, cocoa and oak spice.
