This is a 14 year old Linkwood from Speyside, bottled by Blackadder for its Raw Cask series. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2025 at 56.6% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry cask, number 168, and the outturn is 254 bottles.
The nose is honey almond nougat, marasca cherries, quince, medlars, red apple chews, green almonds and cola sweets. The palate offers damson jam and juicy fruit gum. The finish brings almond blossom, cherry syrup, roasted nectarines with mascarpone and pineapple jelly.
