Blackened Rye The Lightning Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey

Rye The Lightning is a Kentucky straight rye whiskey from Blackened American Whiskey, finished in two different casks. It is a limited release inspired by Metallica's album Ride the Lightning. The whiskey was finished to its own playlist, which is played to the barrels through Blackened's Black Noise sonic enhancement process. The double cask finish brings a nose of dried fig, hay, pinewood, pear and rum cake. On the palate come clover honey, mint, corn husk, sugar cane, walnut and cinnamon.
