Blackened x Wes Henderson Limited Edition Bourbon Whiskey Finished in White Port Wine Casks (75cl, 58.1%)

This bourbon is the second release in Blackened's Masters of Whiskey Series, a collaboration between Blackened master distiller and blender Rob Dietrich and Wes Henderson, co-founder of Angel's Envy. It is a six-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon finished in white port wine casks, bottled at cask strength and non-chill filtered. The finishing barrels were treated with Blackened's BLACK NOISE process, in which low-frequency Metallica recordings vibrate the wood. The release won Grand Gold at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. Pear, raisin, cinnamon and cigar box lead the nose. The palate runs from pear and honey into chipotle-laced cinnamon, vanilla, walnut and cocoa, with a long, viscous finish.
