Blade and Bow is a Kentucky straight bourbon at 45.5% ABV (91 proof), in a 75cl bottle. It is made with the Solera System, which blends bourbon of various ages and brings Stitzel-Weller Distillery bourbon into every bottle. It is aged in charred American white oak barrels, and the hexagonal bottle carries one of five collectable keys on its neck.
The nose is light, with peaches, honey, hay and light oak. Peach carries onto the palate with white pepper, vanilla, oak and a little grain spice. The finish starts with a touch of heat that softens into sweeter notes, with fruit, vanilla, a hint of aged leather and lingering oak.
