Michter's US1 Toasted Barrel Finish is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 45.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle and released as a special edition.
The bourbon is first aged in new, charred American white oak barrels. It then spends additional time in specially made barrels built from wood that was air-dried for 18 months. These barrels are only toasted, not charred, which gives the bourbon its distinctive character.
