This is a 14-year-old whisky from Bladnoch, matured in Oloroso sherry casks and bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1817.
The long maturation in Oloroso wood gives it a deep amber colour and a sturdy structure, with warm tones of vanilla and caramel.
The nose brings dried fruit, dark chocolate and a little spice. On the palate it is velvety, with malt sweetness, dark fruit and a pinch of nutmeg, leading to a persistent, harmonious finish.
