Bladnoch 8 Year Old American Oak & Red Wine Cask Double Matured is a Lowland single malt bottled at 46.7% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured first in American oak casks and then in red wine casks. It is an early limited release in the style of the future Bladnoch 8 Year Old, with no added colour and no chill-filtration.
Red berries, vanilla and a restrained spice mark the nose, and fruit and wood notes carry through to the palate, ending in a soft, long finish.
