Bladnoch 8 Year Old is a Lowland single malt bottled in 1988 at 40% ABV, in a 75cl bottle. Ray Armstrong was at the helm of the distillery at the time, before the later takeover. Bladnoch stands on the banks of the River Bladnoch near Wigtown in Dumfries and Galloway, in the south west of Scotland. It is the country's most southern distillery and one of six Lowland distilleries still operating. It was narrowly saved from extinction in 2015 by an Australian entrepreneur and is producing whisky once more.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
