Bladnoch Vinaya is a Lowland single malt from Bladnoch, a distillery founded in 1817 and the southernmost in Scotland. It is bottled at 46.7% in a 70cl bottle, without chill-filtering and with natural colour.
The whisky is a vatting of malt from Oloroso sherry casks and fresh bourbon casks. It is the first Bladnoch bottling to include casks from both older and newer production.
The notes describe fresh, grassy character with a delicate floral aroma, green apples, chocolate and a touch of pepper. The palate is pure, sweet and balanced.
