This is a single cask Bladnoch single malt from the Lowlands, named Lowland Fruit Basket and bottled in 2026 for The Cooper's Choice – The Golden Cut series by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd. It matured in American oak and was then finished in a ruby port pipe. 360 bottles were filled at 50% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. It has no added colour and is not chill-filtered.
The nose pairs red currants and blackberries with sweet malt. On the palate come sweet port notes, liquorice and spices with a juicy mouthfeel, along with milk chocolate, eucalyptus and pineapple. The finish is long and fades into further fruit notes.
