Bladnoch – Talia 25 Year Old Non-Chill Filtered New Oak Finish

Bladnoch Talia is a 25 year old single malt, non-chill filtered, made in what is described as Bladnoch's traditional style. It is a blend of malts matured in three kinds of wood: ex-Bourbon, ex-Sherry and ex-whisky casks. It is then finished in brand new American oak. The colour is pale gold. The nose is rich and malty, with orange peel, honey, spicy toasted vanilla and grassy notes. The palate is soft, rich and tongue-coating, with spicy honey, gingerbread, a hint of Seville orange and sweet vanilla oak. The finish is balanced, lightly drying and spicy, with oak throughout.
