This is a Blair Athol 10 Year Old from the Manager's Dram series, a Highland single malt first reserved for Diageo employees. It was bottled in October 2019 at a natural cask strength of 57.1%.
The nose offers bright apple, ripe pear, sun-dried figs and tart blackberry, with cinnamon, fresh mint and warm oak. The palate is rich caramel, juicy plum, vanilla and nutmeg, with a smooth texture. The finish is medium, with toasted almond, sweet berry compote and gentle oak smokiness.
