This 12 year old Blair Athol was bottled by Murray McDavid at 46% ABV. It was matured in bourbon hogsheads and then finished in first fill oloroso sherry casks, and 1506 bottles were produced.
The nose is caramel, almonds and sweet popcorn. On the palate there are baking spices, rich malt and oaky vanilla. The finish is long, with dried fruits and gentle oak.
