This is a 15-year-old Blair Athol single malt from the Highlands, distilled in May 2011 and bottled in 2026. It is a single cask release in The Cooper's Choice, The Golden Cut Collection, bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co Ltd. at 50% ABV, with 306 bottles filled.
The whisky matured in American oak before a finish in a Madeira cask. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Sweet toffee, Madeira and dried fruit mark the nose. The palate is full and rich, with raisins, sultanas, sweet malt, caramel and Madeira cake alongside baking spices. The finish is pleasantly long, with caramel, dried fruit and spice returning.
