This is Blair Athol 18 Year Old, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky bottled by James MacArthur for its 500 Years of Scotch series, a limited release commemorating 500 years of Scotch whisky. It was bottled in 1994 at 50% ABV and comes in a 70cl bottle. Tasting notes describe apricot, apple and a hint of spice on the nose. The palate brings ripe pear, caramel and roasted almond, and the finish is sweet vanilla with toasted oak.
