This is a 25 year old Blair Athol from Hunter Laing's Old Malt Cask range, bottled at 50% in a 70cl bottle.
It was distilled in March 1995 and bottled in February 2021 from a single sherry butt, giving 293 bottles.
The nose is fruity and herbal, with stewed prunes, black tea and caramel. The palate is pleasantly spicy, with nutmeg, ginger and cocoa powder. The finish is long and complex.
