This is Blanton's Gold Edition, a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 51.5%. The barrel was dumped on 25 October 1996, and the bottle is marked Warehouse H, Rick 51, Barrel 183, Bottle 97. It comes boxed.
The Blanton's Single Barrel range was launched in 1984, inspired by Colonel Albert Blanton, with Elmer T. Lee selecting barrels from Warehouse H. The bourbon is distilled at Buffalo Trace in Kentucky, matured in the all-metal Warehouse H and made from a mashbill of corn, rye and malted barley.
