Blanton's Original Single Barrel (75cl, 46.5%)

Blanton's Original Single Barrel is a bourbon bottled at 46.5% in a 750ml bottle. Each barrel comes from the centre-cut sections of Warehouse H. Barrels from there were once set aside for ambassadors, dignitaries and Colonel Blanton's family and friends. It is described as the world's first single barrel bourbon, a standard it set in 1984. The nose is deep, with nutmeg and spices. On the palate there is dry vanilla, a little honey and strong caramel and corn, and the medium finish returns to corn and nutmeg.
