Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon (75cl)

Blanton's Single Barrel Bourbon is made at Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, Kentucky, and comes in a 750ml bottle. Elmer T. Lee introduced it in 1984 as a tribute to his mentor, Colonel Albert B. Blanton, and it was the first bourbon released commercially as a single barrel. Each bottle comes from one selected barrel stored in Warehouse H, and is hand-labelled with the barrel number, rick number and bottling date. The stopper shows a horse and jockey in one of eight poses. The nose is citrus, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak and warm spice, with a floral sweetness. The palate is full-bodied and smooth, and the finish is long and warm.
