Blanton's Single Barrel Gold Edition Kentucky Bourbon (75cl, 51.5%)

Blanton's Single Barrel Gold Edition is a Kentucky bourbon in a 750ml bottle, bottled at 103 proof. It is the second version of Blanton's Single Barrel, which first appeared as the Original at 93 proof. The first single barrel bourbon was created in 1984 by Elmer T. Lee, and the brand is named after Colonel Albert B. Blanton, a former distillery president. Lee recalled that the Colonel would sometimes handpick a 'honey barrel' from the centre of Warehouse H to enjoy with others.
