A blended grain Scotch released by independent bottler Brave New Spirits under the name Coven of the Red Veil. It combines North British and Cameronbridge grain whiskies, a rather rare style, and was bottled at 14 years old.
The whisky was matured in first-fill St-Emilion Grand Cru red wine casks and ex-sherry casks for at least 14 years. It is bottled at 58.3% in a 70cl bottle.
It is described as showing fruit compote, shortbread, orange zest, menthol and basil.
