This is a blended malt from Blind Summit, bottled at 46.8% ABV in a 50cl bottle. Five single malts, Blair Athol, Bunnahabhain, Ledaig, Tomintoul and Tamnavulin, were married together in a Saint Emilion wine barrique. Only 320 bottles were filled.
The nose is nutty and fruit-forward, with yellow plum, red apple, vanilla pod, biscuits, dried red berries and a touch of earth. The palate is bright and textured, with dried redcurrant, soft oak tannins, orchard fruits, toasted oak, a little clove and coastal saltiness. The finish is balanced and gently drying, with fruit, smoke and malt.
