Blood Bitter Petrus Boonekamp is an amaro distilled in Calabria by Caffo. It is made from a selection of aromatic herbs, roots and spices, macerated to give an intense and balanced flavour.
Its colour is ruby red. On the nose there are spicy and balsamic notes, with china and juniper, followed by citrus and liquorice. On the palate it has a medium body and a sweet-bitter complexity, with a persistent, pleasantly bitter finish.
It is recommended as a post-meal digestif, served cold or with a cube of ice.
