Blue Run Blueprint Series Bourbon (75cl, 52.5%)

Blue Run Blueprint Series is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Blue Run Spirits of Georgetown, bottled at 52.5% in a 750ml bottle with no age statement. It was blended by Shaylyn Gammon, the brand's Head of Whiskey and Innovation. The blend joins a wheated bourbon aged on the top floor of the rickhouse with the experimental Founders' Mash, made from 80% corn, 15% rye and 5% malted barley and aged on the lower floors. The barrels came from the distillery's own early stock. The nose is described as soft florals and orchard fruit. The palate brings warm baking spice, juicy apple and cinnamon, and the finish has toasted oak, lingering spice and a touch of dry wood heat.
