Booker's Batch 2016-03 'Toogie's Invitation' Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl)

Booker's Batch 2016-03, named 'Toogie's Invitation', is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Jim Beam Distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. It honours Toogie, a family friend of the Noe family, in keeping with the Booker's tradition of naming batches after people close to Booker Noe. The label gives an age of roughly six to eight years. It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at natural barrel proof, in a 75cl bottle. The nose is warm caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and baking spice. The palate is full and concentrated, with toffee, charred barrel, rye pepper and dark fruit, and the finish is long and warming with lingering barrel spice.
