Booker's Bourbon 2025-02, the By the Pond Batch, is a Kentucky bourbon bottled straight from the barrel at 63.3% ABV, uncut and unfiltered. Fred Noe, seventh-generation Master Distiller, chose the batch as a tribute to Booker Noe's backyard pond, which he thought of as a place for inspiration and repose.
It blends barrels aged 7 years, 1 month and 20 days, drawn from eight warehouses and from several rickhouse floors.
The nose brings toasted oak, vanilla and brown sugar. The palate is full-bodied, with caramel, roasted nuts, charred wood, clove and black cardamom. The finish is long, with caramel, oak, black pepper and wood smoke.
