Booker's Bourbon 'Apprentice Batch' 2023-02 (75cl)

A bourbon from Booker's, released as Batch 2023-02, the second batch of the 2023 Booker's collection and known as the Apprentice Batch. It is sold in a 750ml bottle. The batch pays tribute to the early years of Booker Noe, before he became Sixth Generation Master Distiller, when he learned the craft with guidance from his cousin Carl Beam. Its barrels were aged in six different warehouses, and the whiskey spent seven years in white oak, giving a medium amber colour. The notes describe charred oak and caramel on the nose, with vanilla and toasted spice on the palate.
