Boone County 10 Year 1833 is a ten-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon from Boone County Distilling Co. in Burlington, Kentucky. It is the distillery's heritage expression, and the 1833 refers to the year the original Boone County Distillery was established in Independence, Kentucky.
The current distillery revived the name in 2015, working under the motto "Made by Ghosts" as a nod to the distillers of the past.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla, toasted oak and warm baking spice. The palate is rich and balanced, with toffee, brown sugar, charred barrel and cinnamon, leading to a long, warm finish with lingering sweetness and gentle oak.
