A French red wine with a measured character, showing ripe red fruit and earthy notes. Cherry and plum appear on the nose, with undergrowth and light spice. It is ruby in colour with violet reflections. The palate is balanced, with medium body, fine tannins and good freshness. Serve at around 16-18°C. It suits grilled meats, vegetable stews and semi-hard cheeses.
