Bordiga Vermouth di Torino Rosso (75cl)

Bordiga Vermouth di Torino Rosso is a red vermouth from the Bordiga distillery in Piedmont, an old house known for alpine herb liqueurs. Its vermouth-making goes back to 1888. It is made from Nebbiolo wine blended with botanicals including wormwood, marjoram, thyme, coriander, citrus peel, cardamom, Madagascar vanilla, gentian and sage. The hand-drawn label, inspired by film posters, was designed by the founder, Pietro Bordiga. The nose is spiced and floral with aromatic herbs. The palate is balanced, opening sweet and turning slightly bitter in the finish. It suits drinking neat, with dark chocolate, or in a Negroni.
