This is a marc de Muscat, an eau-de-vie from the Alsace estate of Bott-Geyl, in a 35cl bottle.
The estate farms 14 hectares split across 75 plots in seven communes, from Ribeauvillé to Kientzheim, in the central stretch of the Alsace vineyards. Its holdings include five Grands Crus and three lieux-dits, on soils that differ geologically from one plot to the next, which gives a wide range of flavours and characters.
