This is an older bottling of Bowmore 12 Year Old, a single malt from Islay, bottled around 2010 at 40% in a 70cl bottle and supplied in a tube. Colouring has been added and it is chill-filtered.
The nose combines mild peat smoke, lemon zest, honey and a touch of salty sea air. The palate is soft and round, with sweet vanilla, dark chocolate and a restrained smokiness. The finish is of medium length, slightly dry and smoky.
