This is Bowmore 12 Year Old, an Islay single malt in the dumpy bottle style, bottled in the 1980s. It is bottled at 40% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The flavour profile is described as balanced peat smoke with honeyed sweetness and citrus undertones.
On the nose come ripe apple, juicy peach, dried fig, cinnamon, fresh mint and toasted oak. The palate offers dark chocolate, butterscotch, almond and a hint of anise in a creamy texture, and the long finish carries spiced caramel and a touch of smoked sea salt.
