Bowmore 12 Year Old is an Islay single malt in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is made from locally sourced barley and River Laggan water, and matured for 12 years in oak casks. Its peat is lighter than in many other Islay whiskies.
The nose is subtle peat smoke with honey and lemon zest. On the palate come heather honey, rich vanilla and tropical fruit, with a hint of chocolate. The finish is smooth and lasting, with a citrus lemon note.
