This is a 12-year-old Islay single malt from Bowmore, part of the Sherry Cask Collection 2024, in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV. The whisky matured in Oloroso sherry casks and Bourbon casks, then was finished in Oloroso sherry casks.
The black label recalls the Black Bowmore, which was distilled in 1964, and the flowing lines on the bottle and label are meant to reflect a varied range of flavours.
It is described as balancing gentle smokiness with fruity aromas.
