Bowmore 12 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV.
The whisky is matured for twelve years in Oloroso sherry casks and former bourbon casks, then given a finish in Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose offers vanilla caramel, red berries, marzipan and dried fruit. On the palate come pear, lemon, toasted almond and peach sweetness, with cinnamon and rising smoke, followed by a long, spicy finish.
