This is a 15-year-old Bowmore single malt from Islay, released for the 2022 Fèis Ìle festival. It was matured in first-fill ex-Bourbon casks and bottled in 2022 at cask strength, 54.7% ABV, in a 70cl bottle.
The edition runs to approximately 3,000 bottles and celebrates the Fèis Ìle Whisky Festival.
The nose is ripe peaches, zesty oranges and toasted oak. The palate brings rich honey, dark chocolate and citrus zest, and the finish is long and warming, with candied ginger and soft vanilla.
