Bowmore 15 Year Old Darkest is an Islay single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks, with the final three years spent in Oloroso sherry casks. That last stage gives the whisky its rich, deep colour, which is reflected in the name.
The finish is warming.
