Bowmore 15 Year Old Golden & Elegant is an Islay whisky in a one-litre bottle. It spent fifteen years maturing in a combination of ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks.
The nose is rich, with toasted malt, caramel and a slight smokiness. On the palate there is dark chocolate, candied fruit and a subtle vein of peat. The finish is long and refined, leaving a delicate trace of spice and smoke.
