Bowmore 15 Year Old Sherry Oak Cask is an Islay single malt from the distillery's Sherry Oak Cask Collection, launched in late 2025. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matures for 15 years in European oak Oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels, then finishes in European oak Oloroso sherry seasoned casks. Bowmore, founded in 1779, is Islay's oldest licensed distillery.
The nose has Corinth raisins, sweet dates, cinnamon, cocoa and dark chocolate with subtle smoke. The palate shows cedarwood, treacle toffee, boiled sweets, clove and liquorice root. The finish is rich, wooded and lingering, with sweet spice and mineral peat.
