This is a 15 year old peated single malt from Bowmore, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured first in bourbon barrels and then in Oloroso sherry casks. The final three years in Oloroso give it a rich, deep colour and a robust, warming finish.
The nose combines dark chocolate and raisin with the Bowmore smokiness. The palate is cedar wood and rich treacle toffee. The finish is spicy, with toffee, sherry and barley.
