This is an 18 year old Bowmore from the Sherry Oak Cask Collection, a 2024 release bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Bowmore is an Islay distillery, founded in 1779.
The whisky matured in Oloroso sherry and bourbon casks, then received a finish in Oloroso sherry casks. Colouring has been added and it is chill-filtered.
It is described as showing fruit, chocolate and smoke, with a finish that lingers.
