Bowmore 1968 is a 32 year old Islay single malt Scotch whisky, released to mark the 50th anniversary of the Stanley P Morrison company. Only 1860 bottles were produced, each 70cl at 45.5% ABV.
The whisky was distilled in 1968 and bottled in 2000, and it was produced using floor maltings.
The nose brings citrus, berries and subtle spice. The palate offers dark chocolate with ripe plum, and the finish is long, with hints of smoky peat.
