This is a Bowmore single malt from Islay, distilled on 16 June 1973 and bottled in the 1980s by Oddbins for its Exclusive series. It was matured in sherry butts and is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The nose offers dried apricot, marmalade and ripe black cherry, with clove, rosemary and a little oak. On the palate come dark chocolate, figs, nutmeg and toffee in a rich texture. The finish is long, with spiced oak and sweet currants.
