It comes from the Bowmore distillery on Islay and is bottled at cask strength, without dilution.
The nose is smoky and iodine-led, with sweetness from the wood. The palate is soft and complex, with gentle peat, fine spices, dried fruit and honey. The finish lingers, recalling sea air with a slightly salty edge.
