This is a 20 year old Bowmore single malt from Islay, released in 2026 as the Sherry Cask Pursuit expression in the Captivo collection, which was created with the design practice Snarkitecture. It is bottled at 51.8% ABV.
The whisky matured in Spanish oak Oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon casks, then received an Oloroso sherry hogshead finish.
It is described as showing tropical fruit and cracked black pepper, balanced by soft oak and smoked toffee, with a lingering finish of sweet peat smoke and a touch of charred mango.
