This is a 20 year old single malt from Bowmore, released as part of the Captivo Collection, a collaboration with Snarkitecture. Bowmore is a distillery on Islay, in Scotland.
The first stage of maturation took place in American oak that had held bourbon. The whisky then received a finish in an American oak butt that had held Oloroso sherry.
