This is an eight-year-old Bowmore single malt from Islay, distilled in 2000 and bottled by Signatory Vintage at 40% ABV. It was matured in bourbon barrels and comes in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has ripe apple, dried apricot and orange zest, with red berries, cinnamon, menthol and soft oak with a little wood smoke. The palate offers honey, toasted grain, marinated ginger and lemon pepper on a creamy texture. The finish is medium to long, with oak, herbal notes, a citrus twist and a hint of aniseed.
